It begins with an idea

I believe as artists we see things not as they are now or were before but how they could be.

Designers have a responsibility to imagine the future and be dragging the present towards it.

Our lives are impacted by design in subtle ways everyday, for everything we touch has been created by an artist, by a vision and given an identity. To understand design I think you must omit everything superfluous to find what the essential fundamental essence is.

It’s not all just about aesthetics. It’s about function, simplicity, the visible and invisible. It’s about not existing in isolation, but in reflection of what society at large and culture demands.

We need to establish a clear identity and vision within the arts and industry internationally.

Only when an artist understands their full palette can they truly compose and create exceptional work to be proud of.
